I was getting out of my car at the gas station to buy a can of Monster for 3.50 and cheetos flamin' hot for 2.29 when I put on my mask and it felt really itchy. There was a man standing outside the gas station who said "HAVE TO WEAR A MASK." I looked him in the eyes while wearing my mask to confirm that I was wearing a mask. While I was in the store my phone started ringing. Three "notifications" of news for the Bill Gates foundation, Wal-Mart and Hannah Montana announcing a special movie TV show revival. Then my phone started ringing and it was the extended warranty on my car. The cashier asked me if I wanted to use the store loyalty card and I said no. On the way home a car tried to crash into my back bumper maintaining a distance of three feet behind me because I wasn't going fast enough. Then I saw a notification on Facebook saying state now orders all people going out to the store or public gatherings to wear a mask. After that I thought about going to Taco Bell to try the one dollar nachos deal and a Baja Blast.

This is something new. What this will show you is that social media and influencers have created a new language and a new common speech pattern where you can only sound like you are talking in a way that's pleasing to hear by talking about advertisements. It sounds complicated but it's not crazy. You have to stop and think about it and wrap your head around it. Our flow, structure and presentation of language has actually evolved to accomodate learned buzzwords and patterns from advertisements that are repeated over and over like Dominos 5 5 5 three pizzas for five deal or Ba Da Ba Ba Ba McDonald's I'm lovin' it. If the speech patterns learned from the repetition of advertisements are there but the buzzwords that are supposed to go along with it are absent it creates mental dissonance. This is a serious problem and a big revelation I never noticed before and I am not sure how to respond to this.
You have to have the buzzwords and the repetitive speech patterns together or it doesn't work. THE STRUCTURE OF OUR LEARNED COMMUNITY LANGUAGE ITSELF BUILDS INTERNAL ANTICIPATION FOR ADVERTISING BUZZWORDS TO APPEAR SO ANY SPEECH WITHOUT ADVERTISEMENT BUZZWORDS INCLUDED IS PERCEIVED AS ANNOYING. If you use catchy repetitive speech patterns without advertising it is seen as annoying. Yes, advertisers and social media have actually mind controlled and modeled our verbal speaking processes so effectively that now you have to be speaking from the position of an advertiser in a company to be perceived as an alpha.

There is a loophole here that if you can put yourself in the position of the advertiser and the business owner it is like wearing a police or military officer's uniform. It is an optical illusion. We think that "normal" people don't talk like advertisers in commercials because they don't have products to advertise. It is actually an unconscious division of alpha male leader roles and slave roles. It seems that by putting yourself in the imaginary role of a business owner or advertiser you could automatically gain the perceived authority that comes with it like wearing a police officer's uniform. This could be why the most popular novel in recent history was 50 Shades of Gray, people have shamelessly abandoned language as a tool for exploring logic and the senses and they use it to identify who is the "tribe leader" based on their role and their speech patterns. The popularity of "50 Shades" isn't based on the content and the message of the book it is about the explosive aggression and authority that people feel when they see the "correct social uniform" of a psychological leader role expressed as the related personality traits that come with it. Basically, the book operates as an instruction manual for identifying alpha males and not an actual story, peoples' attention spans are already too tired from listening to advertisements to enjoy a deep and rich story with complicated explanations.

The problem is, we are stuck between a rock and a hard place. We can't compete with the rhetoric of advertisers. Without owning a company or a product our position is too boring. We can't convince everyone to start talking like it's the 18th century again and can't talk about the products that the media does because they are trademarked. We can't invent our own fake product names and talk about them because it would be instantly recognized as another category without the instant brand recognition of names like Nicholas Cage and Chic-Fil-A. The name recognition of these big brands is crucial to the flow of the public dialogue and the dialogue doesn't operate correctly unless it constantly mentions brands that already have seven figure dollar amount related big name recognition like Star Wars or Pizza Hut.

I think that the value of the speaker is decided by how many buzzwords like "Apps" "Netflix" "Instagram" and "Olive Garden" they use constantly in every sentence and paragraph. This evolved into CEOs like Zuckerburg mixing household buzz words like "McDonalds" with new invented ones like "Algorithms" and "Connecting people".

If only I could enable a special code that allows me to use the logos of companies like Taco Bell and IHOP as punctuation marks. We have been going the wrong way. We shouldn't be blocking advertisements we should be the ones repeating them and announcing them ourselves to gain a perception of authority as the speaker of the advertisements.

I was rewarded for posting this because the "algorithm" rewards us for making posts that are like advertisements and structures the board so that instant appeal posts mentioning big money brand names like Sephora or Kobe Bryant stay bumped to the top. I'm not allowed to actually publish a book about this stuff because these people's names are trademarked and protected from being distributed unless it's as a temporary post on an obscure message board that will be permanently deleted and ignored three days after it's posted, advertisers are very territorial and strict about keeping us from having a voice in the market they control.
Our entire life is an advertisement. We're the McDonald's and Wal-Mart kids. In school growing up they handed out coupons for us to get free breadsticks at Papa John's and took us on a field trip to see the kitchen at Little Caesar's. School food and grocery store bought food is engineered to be shitty on purpose so that we learn as kids to crave and eat fast food like it is the blood of the messiah. Advertisers want us to betray our families and traditions and serve only our animal hunger and need for constant reassurance. Our entire purpose from birth was to be the audience of Satanist fueled advertisements and to be consumers whose only purpose is to make other people become more rich and powerful than us.

If you're talking to an average stupid person mentioning McDonalds or Pizza Hut is like pressing a button that automatically deactivates them. They are so used to surrendering their autonomy to these brands they will automatically do it if they are confronted by an average person mentioning the same brand names. We don't actually have control over our habits and brain pathways we have been tricked into giving up control to social media and advertisement business strategies.

A Parable of the Prophet Muhammad (as Transcribed by Cory Banta)

four beautiful hijabi women posing on a yellow orange and red background

A girl bought an iPad. When her father saw it, He asked her "What was the 1st thing you did when you bought it?
"I put an anti-scratch sticker on the screen and bought a cover for the iPad" she replied.
"Did someone force you to do so?"
- "No"
"Don't you think it's an insult to the
manufacturer?"
- "No dad! In fact they even recommend using a cover for the iPad"
"Did you cover it because it was cheap & ugly?"
- "Actually, I covered it because I didn't want it to get damaged and decrease in value."
"When you put the cover on, didn't it reduce the iPad's beauty?"
- "I think it looks better and it is worth it for the protection it gives my iPad."
The father looked lovingly at his daughter and said,
"Yet if I had asked you to cover your body which is much more precious than the iPad, would you have readily agreed???"
She was mute.....
~ Indecent dressing and exposure of your body reduces your value and respect.
Always dress decently.

The 'Plandemic' documentary removed from Youtube and social media ...
Add caption

Novatini: Plandemic didn't bother me all that much until some people I know started to get really into it.  They've begun to manifest a faith in Mikovits's opinions that any contradiction only reinforces.  If anyone cites a source that criticizes Mikovits or her opinions, then that source is being controlled by big pharma and the deep state, proving Mikovits's message correct.  This self-fulfilling prophecy is incredibly annoying and renders reasonable discussion impossible.

Jim Bob: She's either right or she's wrong. If she is right, then the criticism of her is pretty much all illegitimate and ultimately sourced in elite conspiracy against her.

You actually have to keep your head deep in the sand to not recognize what is going on here. The establishment bans her, even bans reporters who interview her, and initiates a propaganda blitz with dozens of articles making the same accusations against her.

Comes down to whether you have a basic faith in the establishment to tell the truth. I sure don't have any of that faith.

Novatini: My complaint is more that the very same people who view reports from “established” scientific sources with extreme skepticism are perfectly willing to accept anything Mikovits says with no skepticism whatsoever, as if she’s the mouthpiece of God himself.

Alexandrian Prince: This to me is along the same lines as Infowars. Does Alex Jones have a lot of truth and great things to say? Of course, but reality is that his audience (for good or bad) does comprise of many right-wing NPCs who are just as quick to take everything he says at face value as their leftist MSM-watching counterparts. I don't care who or where someone gets their sources or news from; no one is above the Clear and Distinct Rule and I find it concerning when anyone's message is absorbed unquestioningly regardless of affiliation or intention.

PLANdemic has succeeded in gaining the traction it as largely because of its repeated deplatforming, which has consequentially caused Mikovits' book sales to skyrocket, as it is completely sold out on amazon at the moment. Explicators could bicker all day nitpicking the truths and falsities in the myriad narratives we have heard about the events of the past few months, but at the end of the day, no one has taken any action based on their perception and the only thing that has changed is the increasing amount of money going into the pocketbooks of corporations, politicians, and the grabblers who scour the remains they leave behind.

Jim Bob: Normies a few years ago: IF YOUR CONSPIRACY THEORIES WERE TRUE THEY WOULDN'T LET YOU TALK ABOUT IT
Normies now: THEY ARE BANNING THESE CONSPIRACY THEORISTS FOR THE PUBLIC WELFARE, WE CAN'T HAVE THIS DANGEROUS MISINFORMATION!

What we really have here is just another effort for normies to justify cognitive dissonance. You listened to Mikovits and believed her? What?! You didn't agree with the mainstream propaganda blitz against her?! Well obviously then you are just blindly having faith in her. There can be no other explanation, since I have blind faith in the establishment narrative set against her.

Novatini: I’m not claiming to have faith in the establishment or its narratives. I think that corporate funding for scientific research has led to a lot of corruption. I think that the COVID response has been dreadful. In my mind, people like Fauci and organizations like the NIH and WHO are quite open to criticism, but the fact that Mikovits also criticizes them (at a moment when she stands to profit tremendously from doing so) lends no credibility to her own “research”

Jim Bob: At some point, all of our beliefs do rest in large part on FAITH in what other people are telling us. As human beings with extensive limitations, we are not able to directly research and experiment and experience for ourselves every bit of data we accept as fact. We believe in viruses, most of us having never used a microscope capable of seeing a virus. I could list endless examples. In a sense, all complicated human beliefs in general are a sort of faith based religion which is a composite of thousands of individual beliefs which are mostly taken on faith from trusted sources without personal verification. The conspiracy crowd has always been a heretic cult challenging a mainstream orthodoxy. I happen to find Mikovits to be trustworthy. I look at her history in context with my worldview, and her story is very believable.

An opinion on the Disappearance of The Page (As transcribed by Cory Banta)

"I dont think the topic is related to the group, but I just wanna rant.
Am I the only one bothered by the disappearance of the concept of 'PAGE' on internet and the deliberate inconvenience it brought?
I remember vaguely once on Youtube comment section there was page. So if a video has 2000 comments, one could still put them in temporal order and straightly goto the page in the middle. The youtube comment section now, however, users are forced to either only viewing the latest comments (suppose the user wont waste few days keep scrolling down thousands of comments), or to view the comments picked by the AI algorithms.

Its the same for facebook or any other major social medias. For one to find a older post in a facebook, the only thing they can do is scrolling down for god knows how long, or hope it magically appears by facebook algorithms.
And this design was deliberate. What it causes is a destruction of the concept of 'past' on social media, which what only remains is the 'now', the 'present', the newest in the feed, and the things being pushed by the algorithms lord.
In the old school style BBS and forums, one could simply browse the history of a community by selecting a page and look for the old posts from years ago whenever they want. But for the major social medias, they eliminated the feature together with the history of the each within-communities.

On facebook or most social media now, it became so hard for you to find something that you can only wait for things to be fed to you. It is triumph of information control and training for user dependency."

The City of God is Built on Clay

There is a trepidation to be found in the holy city of Wilmore, Kentucky. Outwardly the small town carries itself to be a place of spiritual excellence and vitality. After all, it holds both a Christian or "conservative" arts college (Although they will tell you they are a rather prestidgious university) and a Wesleyan theological seminary. Much of the land within the town has been owned or subcontracted to these two pillars, and as a result much of the population believes and conveys that just as these two organizations are undeniably performing the Lord's work, such also are they. This is most often conveyed metaphysically through subconscious behavior and attitudes, but can also be found manifest through both the egotistical and capitalist advertizing and slogans scattered across the town's landscape as well as in the very conversations of residents.

A false self-awareness can be heard from the lips of her heard of villagers. In fact the very nikname "The Holy City" is one of the most common found at the seminary. The supposed irony lies in the comparison of their beloved Wilmore to bulwarks like Jerusalem, Rome, or for the Southerner, Charleston, South Carolina. Clearly Wilmore resembles these cities in no way. Where these cities shine as the eyes, jewels, and serve as the foreland to the hinterland, Wilmore conversely hides in the shadow of a shadow, resting beyond the hinterland of Nicholasville which already serves as the hinterland to Lexington. Furthermore, these cities play and have played significant roles in the religion of their people for much of their existence primarily by drawing pilgrims and others to them. A University and College do the opposite of this by sending people away from the city after they have scraped up what it has to offer. While the seminarians who crack these jokes regularly find this to be a good bit of irony, the issue is that not only does the instrumentally-thinking majority struggle to conceive this, but the seminarians themselves hold this underwhelming jest to be a truth in their hearts.

I take revulsion at this notion (for more than simply a stagnant humoresque). Not only is their identity incorrect, but it is quite hypocritical. Swept under the rugs of the college and seminary is the seedy underbelly of the town. Meth labs, addicts, sex-offenders, and all the like that are associated with "white trash" appear in an almost vampiric fashion some time after dusk. Wilmore is no more devoid of its deep socio-economic problems than any other 'hood in middle America. Unlike many of these 'hoods, however, Wilmore refuses to acknowledge or legitimize the presence of any these individuals. Instead of recognizing (let alone resolving) this dysfunctional and problematic stem of their town, the puritanical seminarians would instead hide away in their ivory offices carefree. Those who claim to be the guardians of truth and faith reap no practical application of it in the field most plainly within their reach.

However, the auxiliaries and producers are found guilty as well. Fed by the disdain of the guardians, the two lesser classes share in this identity, but where the guardians are at least bound by posterity, the lesser classes are not slaves to appearances. It is beyond dispassion that these people hold; repudiation serves much better for these classes against the hidden faults of their town. What is most glaring is despite all these efforts, conscious or unconscious, the grave issues plaguing this town stand out all the more as they are juxtaposed to this whitewashed wall of false purity.

An eerie vibe carries through the town of Wilmore during the day which I attribute to this lifestyle. After dusk, this vibe is only exemplified as the true nature of the town is made apparent. I am unsure if it is possible to entirely dismiss my perturbation, but I feel that doing so would be injustice. It is for this reason that I write this piece.

In the Fog

The fog is all around Wyatt. I can’t pull him out now. He has only two options: remain in fog or come to our side. Brady and I are here on this side.

I discovered Brady here with me at dinner the other day—actually before dinner: he asked me about Wyatt and I responded, and he cowed me with his eyes. I jumped, rabbit-like, away from his eyes, feet grinding invisible grain beneath me. I know he sees I’ve apprehended some truth, I saw it in his eyes. At dinner he doesn’t talk to me, he doesn’t open to me. His questions are broken and half-responded. He has responses for his own questions. Wyatt, a child, plays along, whirling his ice-cream with a spoon. I, too, am a child, but I’m out of the fog—I think—with Brady. Brady and I know we’re out and know the other’s out. We both vie for influence over Wyatt’s mind. Wyatt, blank, without understanding, believes I am on a journey with him; he thinks Brady is static, found a comfortable place. Brady and I hurtle at a million miles an hour through information and thoughts, we don’t stop. Wyatt’s mind is stuck in a rut, wheels floating round in infinite mud, blind to truth. We have yet to throw out ropes, but we are both scrambling to find the best way to do so. Wyatt thinks he can influence my mind—he hasn’t yet. He’s just made me sad for him. He resents my pity, yet he takes it. He can’t buck this burden I’ve let fall. Only I can remove it. How can I remove it while he remains enshrouded in fog. Step through the door and we’ll be equals.

But Wyatt doesn’t know. He wonders why I don’t take his advice. I already know how the game is played, I see it from the outside. Brady and I do. Brady’s a few meters ahead of me—hurtling, as always—but a few meters makes a world of difference. Brady, I know what you’re up to. Good man, but unclear motives.

Why didn’t Brady reveal himself at dinner? I know he knew I knew. He wouldn’t throw his eyes at mine; he wouldn’t be straightforward. He leaned his head back and moaned of a brain freeze. The great equalizer, I joke. Wyatt laughs, Brady keeps his eyes tightly shut, head folded back onto the booth seat. Uhhh, he moans through grated teeth. I take the liberty of glaring at the bottom of his chin. It’s wiry with grey hair, like mine with black. I look back at Wyatt: his head bobs with childish mirth. Why can’t he see.

A Brief Analysis of Edge of Tomorty: Rick Die Repeat

Well bois, we did it. After two years of waiting, Season 4 is upon us. Hopefully you spent that time doing something productive instead of just sitting around and shitposting like an incel. If you haven't already watched the season premiere, I suggest you do so before reading this analysis. Working (and legal) link here: https://www.adultswim.com/videos/rick-and-morty/

Roiland and Harmon clearly put their time into making this premiere well worth while. I didn't know what to expect after waiting 2 years, but I definitely wasn't expecting something this grandiose, and was not disappointed.

Our misadventures begin as has come to be expected at this point: at the breakfast table. This time around, however, the remnants of family drama in season 3 are at the forefront of the scene. Rick is no longer "Completely in control" of the family as he was in the beginning of season three, and is clearly still peeved about it, but I will touch more on that later.

As the episode progresses (without too many spoilers), we see firsthand some dynamic character changes. Firstly, Morty is no longer the helpless, pathetic 14-year-old from previous seasons. He has grown increasingly cynical of Rick and forgoes all caution, striving only to satisfy himself, no longer playing the role of a mindless sidekick, as is reinforced also by the new family relations.

At the same time, Rick experiences closure to the old way the Smith family functioned. It becomes clear that his threat of always switching to a better reality is rather empty as he is repeatedly cloned into alternate realities, where he experiences Ricks and Morties who take on exotic roles, from hardcore fascists to insect killing wasps. Wasp Rick tells C137, "When you're born that big an asshole, the least you can do is have a little empathy. Now come have dinner with my family." As C137 has dinner with the Wasp Smith family, he undergoes some self-reflection as he sees how well the Wasp Smiths get along and agree with each other. "We're Wasps, not Monsters," Says Wasp Rick.
"I guess I don't have it as bad as I thought," says C137 to himself.

After a wild battle sequence involving a Giant holographic Rick made flesh, the episode concludes with the gang deciding that it is important to both plan ahead and live in the moment, a theme we will likely see repeating later this season.

CLOSING THOUGHTS

 - The creators successfully managed to make light of extreme left/right wing politics that have arisen in the US today. Not only were these themes appropriately handled, but were comedic regardless of the viewer's political ideology, a feat which is rarely seen today.

 - Many references of lore were used throughout this episode. Whether this will continue throughout Season 4 is yet to be seen, but it was refreshing to see the levels of continuity in which the creators will go to.

 - As was implied by Rick's multiple reality shifts, we will likely see multiple Ricks again this season, and possibly Evil Morty.

 - Despite previous concerns, the show remains as edgy, charged, and graphic as ever, which should please many hardcore fans

 - The show continues to break the fourth wall on a semi-regular basis, again continuing themes from previous seasons.

 - Mr. Goldenfold is still one of the most iconic and humorous characters in the series, in my humble opinion.

Pain as Pleasure

A friend of mine recently recommended an episode of Black Mirror to me, in which a doctor is able to feel his patients' pain. The doctor finds himself enjoying the pain, to the point where he is unable to perform his job correctly. Eventually, he realizes he can enjoy pain by hurting himself, and the rest of the episode features him "cutting bits of his body off."
Though I'm not a masochist, or into self harming, I do identify with the doctor in some way. Take hot-sauce, for example. Plenty of people enjoy hot-sauce, and I can't speak for any of them, but personally, I enjoy the pain. I remember eating crushed ghost peppers sophomore year in track season: I told my pals it invigorated me, but I just enjoyed the pleasure I derived from the pain.
My first memorable exposure to enjoyment of pain goes back to visits to the D.O. as a child. As the doctor pressed and pulled the muscles in my neck and back, I found myself relishing every moment, especially the uncomfortable ones.
I should clarify that this is not sexual pleasure, but a unique, mild euphoria that is exclusively induced by pain.
Another similar physical experience is the use of a TENS unit. I'm not sure what these are typically for, but I have enjoyed many hours on the table at the chiropractor being zapped by this pleasure-generating pence machine. When turned all the way up, the TENS keep forcing one's muscles to contract, and can hurt quite a bit. At points, it's so pleasurable that I am basically laughing and drooling into the face towel while convulsing uncontrollably. It sounds disgusting, but feels extraordinary.
These physical pleasures are lovely, but they are nothing compared to the enjoyment induced by emotional pain. At this point, it becomes more about the aesthetic than the pleasure. Imagine an artist making a beautiful art piece, and then destroying it in a creative, unique way. Was the art the piece that was destroyed, or does the art encompass both the destroyed piece and the entire act? Obviously, half the artistry is the creative act of destruction

The Full Speech/Text from Bennett Foddy's Getting Over It

There’s no feeling more intense than starting over. If you’ve deleted your homework the day before it was due, as I have. Or if you left your wallet at home and you have to go back, after spending an hour in the commute. If you won some money at the casino and then put all your winnings on red, and it came up black. If you won an argument with a friend and then later discovered they just returned to their original view. Starting over is harder than starting up. If you’re not ready for that, like if you’ve already had a bad day, then what you’re about to go through might be too much. Feel free to go away and come back. I’ll be here. Alright, thanks for coming with me on this trip. I’ll understand if you have to take a break at any point… Just find a safe place to stop, and quit the game. Don’t worry, I’ll save your progress, always, even your mistakes. This game is a homage to a free game that came out in 2002, titled ‘Sexy Hiking’. The author of the game was Jazzuo, a mysterious Czech designer who was known at the time as the father of B-games. B-Games are rough assemblages of found objects. Designers slap them together very quickly and freely, and they’re often too rough and unfriendly to gain much of a following. They’re built more for the joy of building them than as polished products. In a certain way Sexy Hiking is the perfect embodiment of a B-game. It’s built almost entirely of found and recycled parts, and it’s one of the most unusual and unfriendly games of its time. In it, your task is simply to drag yourself up a mountain with a hammer. The act of climbing, in the digital world or in real life, has certain essential properties that give the game it’s flavour. No amount of forward progress is guaranteed; some cliffs are too sheer or too slippery. And the player is constantly, unremittingly in danger of falling and losing everything. Anyway when you start Sexy Hiking, you’re standing next to a tree, which blocks the way to the entire reset of the game. It might take you an hour to get over that tree. A lot of people never got past it. You prod and poke at it, exploring the limits of your reach and strength, trying to find a way up. There’s a sense of truth in that lack of compromise. Most obstacles in videogames are fake - you can be completely confident in your ability to get through them, once you have the correct method of the correct equipment, or just by spending enough time. In that sense, every pixellated obstacle in Sexy Hiking is real. The obstacles in Sexy Hiking are unyielding, and that makes the game uniquely frustrating. But I’m not sure Jazzuo intended to make a frustrating game - the frustration is just essential to the act of climbing and it’s authentic to the process of building a game about climbing. A funny thing that happened to me as I was building this mountain: I’d have an idea for an obstacle, and I’d build it, test it, and… it would usually turn out to be unreasonably hard. But I couldn’t bring myself to make it easier. It already felt like my inability to get past the new obstacle was my fault as a player, rather than as the builder. Imaginary mountains build themselves from our efforts to climb them, and it’s our repeated attempts to reach the summit that turns those mountains into something real. When you’re building a videogame world you’re building with ideas. And that can be like working with quick-cement. You mold your ideas into a certain shape that can be played with and in the process of playing with them they begin to harden and set until they are immutable, like rock. At that point you can’t change the world - not without breaking it into pieces and starting fresh with new ideas. For years now people have been predicting that games would soon be made of prefabricated objects, bought in a store and assembled into a void. For the most part, that hasn’t happened, because the objects in the stores are trash. I don’t mean they look bad or they’re badly made, although a lot of them are. I mean they’re trash in the way that food becomes trash as soon as you put it in the sink. Things are made to be consumed in a certain context, and once the moment is gone they transform into garbage. In the context of technology those moments pass by in seconds. Overtime we've poured more and more refuse into this vast digital landfill we call the internet. It now vastly outnumbers and outweighs the things that are fresh and untainted and unused. When everything around us is cultural trash, trash becomes the new medium, the lingua franca of the digital age. You can build culture out of trash, but only trash culture. B-games, B-movies, B-music, B-philosophy. Maybe this is what this digital culture is. A monstrous mountain of trash, the ash-heap of creativity's fountain. A landfill with everything we ever thought of in it. Grand, infinite and unsorted. There's 3D models of breakfast, gen-xer's fanfic novels, scanned magazines, green-screen Shia LaBeouf, banned snuff scenes on liveleak, Facebook's got lifelike bots with unbranded adverts, and candid shots of Kanye, and taylor swift mashups, car crash epic fail gifs, Russian dash cam vids, discussions of McRibs, discarded, forgotten, unrecycled, muddled, rotten, and untitled.
Everything's fresh for about six seconds, until some newer thing beckons and we hit refresh. And there's years of persevering, disappearing into the pile, out of style, out of sight. In this context it's tempting to make friendly content, that's gentle, that lets you churn through it but not earn it. Why make something demanding, if it just gets piled up in the landfill. Filled with bland things? When games were new, they wanted a lot from you. Daunting you, taunting you, resetting and delaying you. Players played stoically. Now everyone's turned off by that, they want to burn through it quickly, a quick fix for the fickle, some tricks for the clicks of the feckless. But that's not your, you're an acrobat, you could swallow a baseball bat. Now I know most likely you're watching this on Youtube of Twitch while some dude with 10 million views does it for you, like a baby bird being fed chewed up food. That's culture too. But on the off-chance you're playing this, what I'm saying is Trash is disposable but maybe it doesn't have to be approachable. What's the feeling like? Are you stressed? I guess you don't hate it if you got this far Feeling frustrated it's underrated.
An orange is sweet juicy fruit locked inside a bitter peel. That's not how I feel about a challenge. I only want the bitterness, its coffee, its grapefruit, its licorice. It feels like we're closer now, composer and climber, designer and user. You could have refused but you didn't. There was something in you that was hidden, that chose to continue.
It means a lot to me that you've come this far, endured this much. Every wisecrack, every insensitivity, every setback you've forgiven me is a kingly gift you've given me. We have the same taste, you and I. It's not ambition. It's ambition's opposite. An obdurate mission to taste defeat. You'll feel bad if you win so I put this snake in for you. https://youtu.be/0KbdJ9LeXXM Have you ever thought about who you are in this. Are you the man in the pot, Diogenes? Are you his hand? Are you the top of his hammer? I think not- where your hand moves, the hammer may not follow, nor the man, nor the man's hand. In this you are his WILL. His intent. The embodied resolve in his uphill ascent . Now you've conquered the ice cliff, the platforms, the church and the rectory, the living room and the factory, the playground and the construction site, the granite rocks and the lakeside. You've learned to hike. There's no way left to go but up and in a moment I'll shut up, but let me say I'm glad you came. I dedicate this game to you, the one who came this far. I give it to you with all my love.

The Most Tragic Death in Avengers: Infinity War is American Cinema

Disclaimer: most of the ideas presented here about the Marvel franchise are discussed in the phrasing of PewDiePie, not because I had no opinions on the matter before he discussed it, but because I feel that he best addresses the issues at hand.

That's right. This miserable 2 and-a-half hour advertizement for the vast number of identical Marvel movies' most saddening death scene was American Cinema. How far we've fallen, RiPoLa. Much like how the mainstream blindly eats up any other franchise, Infinity Wars succeeded in making millions off of sheeple Marvel fans young and old. There are so many things that I disliked about this movie, that I don't even know where to begin,

1. Greenscreen/CGI does not make everything better.

As of late, I've become somewhat of a consumatore for big movies from the late 50s and early 60s, such as the highly esteemed Ben-Hur, Exodus, El Cid, James Bond, Lawrence of Arabia, and a continuing list of other notable "classics." When comparing these films to those of modern day, there are stark differences in every category from camera angles to plot. to the unseeing eye, the most immediate and profound visual difference that can be noted is the lack of any greenscreening or CGI, as this technology was not yet invented. Shockingly, even in the abcense of such capabilities, these movies still hold excellent and dynamic scenes, massive armies clashing, and chaotic scenes of action.

When movies couldn't use any form of greenscreen or CGI, produces had to either do everything from scratch or improvise. Take Ben-Hur's chariot racing scenes, for example. The set for the area in the movie was so large, it had to be constructed 9 months ahead of filming to complete it. Once the set was complete, hundreds of unique actors with costumes and roles, all real people, filled this stadium to watch was was a very real chariot race. Real horses were lined up with real chariots on their backs with real actors in those chariots. It was anyone's guess as to what could happen when the horses took off. As one of the actor's chariots fell apart, he rolled into the path of multiple other chariots where he was then crushed and trampled by those horses, and unfortunately did not survive to see the finished movie. That sort of dedication is NEVER seen in modern movies.

Vanilla's Guide to Constantiam for R-words, Bundles of Sticks, and Weebs

Here you go, fellas, a guide with everything you need to know to play Orthodox Minecraft with us. It's a pretty step-by-step guide in simplistic terms, so if you can't figure something out, you probably should just do a quick google search of it. This guide is for the questions you won't find as easily on Google.

Before you Play
Constantiam.net (the server we are based on) runs on Minecraft version 1.12.2. This is because 1.13 still lacks many plugins that are essential for the server to run. If you are not playing on 1.12.2, you WILL get this error message when trying to join the server:

Fear not, the fix is quite easy. Simply go to your Minecraft launcher, and select Launch Options

Enable Advanced Settings and Add a new Profile. Set the version of the profile to 1.12.2.

From here, go back to the NEWS tab, select the profile you just created, and you should be good to go.

INSTALLING IMPACT 4.4, OPTIFINE, AND/OR BOTH
Finna write this later

Your First Login (Server ID is "constantiam.net"
Welcome to Constantiam. prepare to get DESTROYED by logic, facts, hunger, hordes of Veteran players, Packs of withers, and any other number of things the server will throw at you. your first goal is to escape spawn.

Spawn
"Spawn" on Constantiam consists of a 2,000x2,000 square at the geographical center of the server. The land has been so rekt after 3 years of 20,000 players destorying it that it will take you awhile to escape. Since there is little to no wood, food, chests, weapons, or any other jazz in spawn, your best bet on escaping spawn is by either walking the treacherous terrain or stumbling across a nether portal someone hasn't destroyed yet.

"Why is spawn like this?" Veteran players don't like "rushers," or new players like you who come onto the server and treat it like it's nothing. New players have a history of destorying old bases, lagging the server, or showing a general disrespect to the older players who feel they have earned their place on the server through the grind. As a result, they've destroyed spawn to a point where it is improbable that you will escape, complete with withers, lavacasts, and a lava wall surrounding the perimeter. Because of this, you will likely only escape spawn through a nether portal, as your odds of simply walking out of spawn are astronomically low.
"Uh, but uh, Vanilla, I don't know where to find a nether portal, what do I do?"
You're on your own, kiddo. Portals are constantly made and destroyed at spawn, so there's no map or coordinates to a definite portal. your best bet on finding one is by making it 500 blocks away from X0,Z0 in any given direction. If you can see grass, you're getting warmer.
"But uh I can't do that that takes too long"   Leave and don't come back

NOW, that being said, there IS a map of Spawn from October that is generally reliable for navigating the wasteland, but it won't help you find portals. Here ya go: https://i.imgur.com/5vwnWuq.jpg

Some Brief Thoughts on The Space Cowboy: Richard "Beedo" Russell

The video and the article explain and show most of what happened, but on August 10, 2018, Rich essentially committed suicide by stealing an airplane from Seatac, where he worked. There were no passengers on board, and he was the only one killed in the event.

Suicide rates have steadily climbed in the West. Living conditions, bullying, a lack of  meaning... there's a near unlimted number of reasons for suicide, but I think that in Rich's case, he ultimately was broken, and probably felt a lack of purpose.
Why would you steal a plane? Rich probably felt that if he was going to end it all, it would be most meaningful to do it not in hiding or in shame, not in violence towards others, but in a way that he felt would bring him peace and push him to the very limit. Because of his job, stealing a plane might have felt like the most logical way to do that, and throughout the video it's made clear that Rich was taken aback by the beauty of the sky. In the article, Rich's personal life is discussed, and he had a love for natural beauty.
Suicide is no laughing matter, and I think to an outsider, the somewhat light tone about this event among 4channers may have been viewed as an offensive way to handle the situation, but I think that it was more just a coping mechanism, and really a way of trying to feel compassion.
And speaking of compassion, Rich made it excruciatingly clear that he wanted no one else to be hurt by his response to his pain. I think that says a lot about his character.

I don't really have much else to say, but thought this was of significance and wanted to archive it here, so there ya go.

The Absolute State of this Blog

Why am I here? Writing this at 2:51am, with work beckoning in the morning. Why does it matter? Who's going to actually read this? Does anyone actually read anything on here? No one comments or leaves any trace in this place, that's for sure. This strange, virtual, seemingly vivid, yet non-existent void... that is where this "place" is. This blog, your streaks on snapchat, your hearts on instagram, your retweets on twitter... all of it is imaginary, lifeless, metaphysical, spontaneously generated, then muddled and forgotten.

The reason why any of this, what you're reading, what you do on this void, matters, is because we give it the power to matter. The internet, in all its glory and complexities, with its physical electrons amounting up to the size of a strawberry, impresses, befuddles, teaches, enthralls, and controls us all because we give it the power to do so. I wonder to myself, if we have the power to let the non-existent indulge us, then what do we have the power to let the physical world do?

First Cigars

I bought my first cigar shortly after I turned 18. A friend and I zipped to a local cigar shop after school, and purchased two sub-three dollar cigars. We left the shop in a mild fit of anger, on account of not being carded.
We enjoyed the ciggies two days later at the arboretum, a smoke-free facility. Since the day was a cold Novemberboi, we were freezing our tits off, but couldn't rip fatties in our cars. Therefore, we ventured deep into the interior. First, we set up camp on a bench, but it was too close to the path, so we went even deeper. We rambled into the woodland trails, and sat down on a long log. A Californiaboi & a Georgia lad were also in attendance, but did not partake, since they were not of age at the time.
I enjoyed mine with a cup of McD's black coffee. Went to our gay-arse school, and felt like real "g"s. Stupid and [removed for the sake of modernity].
This is a cringey snapshot into the graduated process of adolescence among the suburban youth.

Christian Minecraft: The Story Begins...

All Good Stories begin with a Prologue.

This one's just a bit different.

It was a few nights before The Last Jedi would come out. Tired and fed up with Hause's Jewish Tricks on 2Builders2Tools, Hair_Juan and Gold3nlox set out to find a new and improved Anarchy Minecraft Server; one where lagless gameplay was mandatory and a 2 hour queue, or even the word queue, was unheard of. After a brief search on the interwebs, Hair_Juan stumbled across what appeared to be a gem; MineWind.com. Without any more trouble, the two savvy misadventurers set off to establish their malice and will to dominate across this new realm.

     SPAWN
Much unlike 2b2bt, when our ruddy and handsome players first logged on, they found themselves not in a world of devastation, but in a rather organized, layed out, stable Castle of sorts, one which seemed to house protection to all those within it. Quickly, this grew boring, and there were no items available, so the two set off to find what could only be considered true spawn, X:0, Z:0. After a short benign frolic, the fabled 0,0 was found, but also unlike 2b2t, the griefing that had occured there was quite minimal, a disappointment, really. Since nothing more could be effectively conducted here, and our players were beginning to grow hungry, an expedition away was formed and the two were off once more.

   NIGHT ONE
Crepers, Skellingtons, Zombois, and Spidders were galore! "Into the dirt!" screamed Hair_Juan to avoid these foul things. But Hair_Juan was too slow; he had to many fried beans that morning, for before he could dig, a Creper snuck up behind him and said I have found you Hair_Juan now I will blow you up! And the Creper Explodeded and there was many fire and and a loud boom like New Clear Bomb and Gol3nlox said Oh know my buddy Hair_Juan is gone I must dig and hide from these crepers before it is too late. So Gold3nlox hid in the dirt when he discovered that Hair_Juan and he could teleport to each other and Hair_Juan was back and they were no more scared of the crepers as much.

  THE FIRST BASE
The next day the buddies set out further away from spawn and no more needed food because they could teleport and it went smoothly. The players were devout and religious and so they were able to  walk on water with their faith and crossed a great ocean known as the Ocean of Great and passed an Ice Plains Spikes Biome but there was no silk touch pick and so they kept going until they found a JUNGLE BIOME!!!1!!11! "Look there is Jungle Biome" said Hair_Juan. "Yes I see the Jungle Biome" said Gold3nlox "But is it safe" he thought. The two made their base on this island and set their homes up and planted many melon and wheat seesd when they discovered that this Jungle Island had super soil that made their food grow extra fast when night came and Hair_Juan said "Look there is too much shrubbery on this island so I will burn it down with flint and steal!" "AhH! Said Gold3nlox "There is too much woood to go to waste so let me chop it down first" So Gold3nlox started chopping down wood and Hair_Juan went underground to go find flint and steal. He found flint and steal before Gold3nlox finished chopping wood and so Gold3nlox did many tree dances that night to chop down all of the wood he could before teh forest burned down but Hair_Juan did sloppy job and so there was many wooods still in the air which they had to clean up later.

     SURVIVING
The Crepers did seem not spawn when there was light so the two placed torches everywhere on the island they could when Hair_Juan found an ocelot and said "Well hello there fine ocelot you seem like a very nice ocelot so I will make you my pet but I don't know how to tame you!" So Hair_Juan went to the Rusty Trusty minecraft wiki where it said he needed fish. "Aha!" He said, "I need a fish to tame you!" So Hair Juan crafted a fishing rod and went on a fishing journey and Gold3nlox said "Screw mining for the diamonds and buildun house" and went fishing too but got bored easily and went back to mining the diamond and buildun house. Soon Hair_Juan had enough fishies to tame the ocelot and it became a siamese cat and followed Hair_Juan everywhere he went.

     THE FRIENDLY TIME
Soon good news of Hair_Juan and Gold3nlox's base on the Jungle Island spread and a person named Bikia said "Hello Hair_Juan and Gold3nlox I would like to come to your base on the Jungle Island and make food and mine and find the dianmond and buildun house with you." and Hair_Juan said "oh okay" and Bikia joined. then, legolas3703 joined and said "hello I am new to mycraft but I am wanting to learn how to do the find the dianmond and buildun house and can I join you too>? and Gold3nlox said "um okay" and legolas3703 joined. Pretty soon the island was getting full and everything was done So Gold3nlox built a king's supply of noteblocks and began making the tune for "Ni🅱🅱a We Made it" by Drake and Soulja Boi because Gold3nlox was a player of culture.

     THE NETHERING
"What's that over there?" Said Gold3nlox as he looked up from his noteblocks and saw a sparse peninsula covered in sand. So Gold3nlox went over to the peninsula and saw that it was empty and decided to build a swastika in the sand since this was still the friendly time and the swastika is a universal symbol of peace. Then Hair_Juan said "I want to go to the nether." Hair_Juan saw the swastika and thought it would make for an excellent place to build a nether portal and then went into the nether and said "There are no tunnels here and I am too lazy to dig them so I will go back." and then he went back.

Sometime later, Gold3nlox had finally succeeded at doing the find the dianmond and buildun house and so he took the diamond pickaxe and dug into the nether so far that no one could see the end and then built a portal out of the nether. "Where am I now?" Gold3nlox said and he saw that he was very far away. "I should build a new base far away in case the Jungle Island gets destroyed" thought Gold3nlox. "But I will have to do it later..."

TO BE CONTINUED!!!!1!11

Memetics: Planes of Irony

To truly understand esoteric memetics, one must grasp the different planes of irony and how they directly affect a meme's value.

meme (mēm)

  • n.
A unit of cultural information, such as a cultural practice or idea, that is transmitted verbally or by repeated action from one mind to another.

The dictionary definition of meme is rather broad, but when speaking about memes in modern culture, especially when using adjectives such as "normie, dank, edgy, or wholesome," meme refers to any image that presents the viewer with an idea, concept, or satirical reference to something. Many modern memes have been essentially labeled propaganda by certain members of the left due to their nature of promoting ideas, but we will discuss that more as we progress in our 4chan series. If you want a quick example now, look no further than here.

propaganda (prŏpˌə-gănˈdə)

  • n.
The systematic propagation of a doctrine or cause or of information reflecting the views and interests of those advocating such a doctrine or cause.

Most memes, however, in their purest form, are meant to give the viewer a good chuckle, or for the "dank memer," to turn something dark into an object of hilarity. To those who are unfamiliar with the side of silicon valley with free reigns, this comes as shocking, and even a thing of great concern, but this is simply not the case. As the world we live in appears to grow darker, a natural method of human coping has always been to relieve that heaviness. For the drunkard, drug, or sex addict, physical pleasure is their means of escape. Consequentially, these thinks when done out of moderation can cause great damage to the body. Finding a way to laugh at the irony, chance, and poetry of life not only gives us a healthy relief to our surroundings, but helps us view the situations with a little more light.

Let's face it: the world is a dark place. It should therefore come as no surprise that dark humor can be found in many online commons. Dark humor is much deeper, personal, and applicable than humor from something unrelated to whatever issues are prevalent, and likewise allows individuals to laugh about their deeper struggles and problems. One could argue that exposing the issues of the world in this nature spreads awareness of them and makes them easier to solve, because acknowledgement of an issue as an issue is the first major step towards fixing it. Recent studies have shown that dark humor is linked to higher intelligence. With the way black humor is being used to acknowledge issues, it logically follows that individuals who are more entertained by dark humor are also individuals who understand the issues presented in it clearly. For more information on these studies, you can click here.

So What Determines the Comedic Value of a Meme?

irony (īˈrə-nē, īˈər-)

  • n.
The use of words to express something different from and often opposite to their literal meaning.
  • n.
An expression or utterance marked by a deliberate contrast between apparent and intended meaning.
  • n.
A literary style employing such contrasts for humorous or rhetorical effect.
While this isn't an easy question to answer, we can generally measure irony to find how much enjoyment a meme will bring and how deep it goes. Understanding the planes of irony is key when it comes to understanding esoteric memetics today. As more and more people continue to dive into the world of memes, finding esoteric content becomes more and more difficult, and the lines between planes of irony can be easily blurred. The easiest way I feel to explain what the planes of irony are and how they work is by directly showing you through memes.

FIRST PLANE OF IRONY - "NORMIE"

The very nature of memes makes them necessarily ironic in at least the most basic forms. (Realistic situation compared to a reaction to something that is not the realistic situation) Memes within the first plane of irony often spoonfeed the viewer the irony, and don't require any greater understanding to perceive the intended humor. These memes are often dubbed "normie" by those within the meme community because of their quantity and their use in the mainstream world. Originally, memes from the first plane were indentified easily by the signature "top text bottom text" format in impact font. Many first planers have begun to disguise these memes by using other formats, and so identifying first plane memes should not be considered a simple matter of format and font identity.

SECOND PLANE OF IRONY - NEWBIE
The second plane of irony deals with two simaultaneous ironic events occuring at the same time. Often as easy as a well picked twitter screenshot, memes from the second plane of irony were originally and often still are referred to as "dank" by many. The viewer has to find for themselves the irony and humor within a second plane meme, but the irony is still to be found on a surface level. Memes from the second plane of irony swept the internet in 2015 and 2016 and have slowly become more mainstream as time has progressed. Memes from the second plane of irony are more likely to use dark humor than those of the first plane, but overall can still be thought of as fairly "wholesome."

THIRD PLANE OF IRONY - DANK

In the third plane of Irony, memes begin to either combine or require further context to be grasped. The above meme, "Peter Parker Reading a Book," is a meme from the second plane of irony, but it also refers to the Priest unit in Age of Empires II and his iconic "Wololo" phrase he mutters when asked to perform a certain task. The Third plane will not hand the viewer the irony or humor, but the viewer must instead have knowledge from outside of the meme's provision to fully understand and appreciate its value. The ability to understand a third plane meme is like solving a puzzle or stumbling on buried treasure. The increased dopamine output from the brain that the cultured individual receives is what arguably makes the third plane the sweet spot in memes where

FOURTH PLANE OF IRONY - WOKE

The fourth plane, or the "self-aware plane," is where things start to get real funky. In plays, movies, or other forms of performance, breaking the fourth wall is when someone or something from within the performance becomes aware of the existence of the audience, and that they are in fact, within a performance. Fourth Plane memes are similar in this sense, but do not necessarily allude directly to leaving or interacting with that which is outside of the fourth wall. Instead, many of these memes (such as the one above) will simply take what would be considered normal within the meme or its format and rearrange, distort, remove, or add to it, creating an implied self-awareness. In my personal experience, fourth plane memes are quite uncommon, so if you see one, make sure you keep it somewhere safe from the coppers.

FIFTH PLANE OF IRONY - ASCENDED

A meme self-aware of the self-aware meme it is built off of. A novel concept, yes? Reaching the fifth plane of irony is not at all an easy task. Very few memes in the present day have ever succeeded in reaching this level of irony. We can only hope that the future holds more of them. May the dubs be in your favor, fifth plane.

~~ GOING BEYOND THE FIFTH PLANE OF IRONY ~~

While we are aware of the existence of planes beyond the fifth plane of irony, its a chaotic jungle frontier which few have ever been brave enough to traverse. I myself have never ascended beyond the fifth plane, but can only hope that I too may delve deeper into memetics and better understand the metaphysical. Rumors of the powers one gains when ascending further into the planes include, but are not limited to: the ability to summon karma at will, declaring meme jihad, and manifesting and creating meme magic. It is assumed that when one crosses over the ethereal plane, they gain the ability to manipulate time and space itself within multiverses dealing within the laws of subatomic particles.
The final plane of irony is thought to be that which Keksandra resides in, and one in which only she is able to comprehend. Even after years of extensive research, no human being has been able to tap into the ironic field after passing through the ethereal plane. Browman et al. [2016] estimates that the level of memeing that Keksandra is separated by "anywhere between six and eight further undiscovered levels of memeing. Many other papers have theorized where Keksandra's meme level exists, but none of them have concrete evidence to support the theories. Bao and Wang [2016] theorized that Keksandra's level of memery taps into quantum loop gravity in specific universes within the mutiverses found in subatomic particles.
It is estimated that the first contact with Keksandra's meme levels is set to occur between the years 2340 and 2360 AD, should instruments that are capable of penetrating multiverses within subatomic particles be available anywhere between the present and the cutoff year of 2300. Work into accessing the next dimension of memes is ongoing and the barrier separating the current deepest level and the next level is said to be close.
Some leaders in the field of memetics that are known to have excelled beyond the fifth plane in more modern times include celebrities like Nicola Tesla, Donald J Trump, and Rick Sanchez. While most of these men's secrets are kept hidden away from the public, their works are reflected in the current metaphysical timeline, which shows us that they are/were indeed ascended beyond the fifth plane.

Keep meming and keep trying to understand memetics. Maybe someday you too will be a leader in meme studies. Sometime, hopefully in the near future, we will publish more articles on this blogg about Meme Magic and other metaphysical aspects that tie into memetics. Until then, Shadilay, my brethren.
